The Konza Prairie Medication Assistant Program was first established in 1999 with only 20 patients in the program. In 2005, there are now over 400 patients receiving their medications through our program. The medication cost brought back into the community has been over one million dollars in the last two years. We currently assist individuals in over fifteen different counties in the state of Kansas.
How to get involved in the Medication Assistance Program;

1. Become a Konza patient. You must be seen by one of our three providers to qualify.
2. You must not have any prescription drug coverage.
3. You must meet the income guidelines set by the different pharmaceutical companies.
4. There is an annual $20.00 fee to be in the M.A.P.
5. Medicaid patients may receive temporary assistance through our program when they are in a spend down cycle with their coverage.
6. You must maintain three month appointments with your provider to remain in the M.A.P.
7. You must report any changes to your Case Manager:
a. Income (all who you reside with)
b. Household members
c. Marital status
d. Any insurance coverage change
e. Address / phone # changes
